PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After receiving a 100% satisfaction rating from their pilot program, “LIFT,” TriMet has announced its implementation of a new pilot service entitled “NEXT,” which offers on-demand rides for the elderly as well as riders with disabilities.
To use NEXT, TriMet has launched an app for eligible riders, formatted similarly to Uber or Lyft. It allows users to request rides on-demand.
