PHOTOS: Fire engulfs house off of NW Skyline Blvd

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A fire has engulfed a home off of Northwest Skyline Boulevard in Portland, leaving only a single wall standing, authorities said.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue said they were the first respondents to the fire, which was reported just before 7 p.m. in the 21500 block of Northwest Beck Road. When firefighters arrived, the home was already engulfed in flames.

“Defensive operations were commenced utilizing alternate water supply tactics including water tenders to shuttle in water for extinguishment purposes,” said a TVF&R spokesperson.
