Portland (KATU) — The City of Portland is proposing a brand new homeless shelter in the Pearl District.
Portland Solutions told KATU the new shelter will be located at NW 14th Avenue and NW Northrup Street, just west of Interstate 405. The shelter will eventually have 200 beds, but will start at a much lower number.
