PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) arrested two demonstrators during protests near the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in South Portland on Wednesday night.
At around 8:24 p.m., a demonstrator was observed pointing a powerful laser at federal officers. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Eduardo Diaz, was taken into custody without incident at approximately 11:14 p.m.
