Portland police crackdown on street racing leads to arrests, vehicle seizures

A coordinated street takeover mission by the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) over the weekend resulted in multiple arrests and vehicle seizures. The operation, conducted on Saturday, June 21, 2025, involved officers from the North, Central, and East Precincts and aimed to deter illegal street racing and enhance community safety.

The mission led to approximately 20 traffic stops, with four vehicles towed and two seized for criminal forfeiture under Senate Bill 615. Three individuals were arrested, and two others were cited, according to the PPB.
