OR Minimum wage is going up

SALEM – The minimum wage for Oregon will increase on Tuesday, as it does every year. The state is divided into three different regions, with different minimum wage rates for each.

Rates in our region, which is considered non-urban will increase to $14.05 per hour. The standard areas will be set at $15.05 per hour. The Portland metro area will rise to $16.30 per hour.

The non-urban area (green on the map) is defined as counties in Eastern and Southern Oregon. The standard area (teal) includes Medford, Bend, much of the Willamette Valley and the northern coast of the state. The Portland metro area (orange) includes areas within Portland’s urban growth boundary as well as its city limits…
