I found the perfect summer wine spot in Portland where you can actually hear yourself think

Place the new Landmass Wines tasting room on your “must-visit” list. It’s a low-key oasis on Northeast Fremont Street with an “endless summer” kind of vibe and wines that represent high quality for a reasonable price.

When I first met Landmass Wines owners Malia Myers and Melaney Schmidt, they were focused on making sparkling wines. I recall thinking that the wines were so good that they really should be asking for more money.

Today, Landmass has 17 wines, almost equally split between sparkling and still. Their wines range from $20 to $84, with many options costing $26. And six years later, I still think they should be charging more…
