4 hit by car after ‘large fight’ in Northwest Portland early Friday

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Four people were hit by a car after a large fight in Northwest Portland early Friday morning, authorities said.

According to Portland police, officers responded to a “large fight involving numerous people” near the intersection of Northwest 4th Avenue and Couch Street at around 2 a.m. where there were around 100 people in the street, although not all of them were involved in the fight.

Officers said they broke up the fight and while people were walking away from the scene, a car ran a stop sign, hitting four people.
