PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The victim of a Hayden Island homicide has been identified by Portland police.
Richard Lee Bowers, 57, of Portland, was identified as the man who was found dead on the west end of Hayden Island on June 26.
The Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be homicide due to blunt force trauma.

One day after Bowers’ body was found, police arrested Timothy L. Hudson, 68, for the alleged murder. He was taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center and faces on multiple charges.
