Portlanders Speak Out on Homelessness

PORTLAND, Ore.– Portland city council’s homelessness and housing committee asked for community feedback. They had way more people than they expected show up.

The meeting plan called for enough time for 6 people to testify, but 15 signed up to speak and dozens more wrote their comments, filling more than 80 pages. Todd Zarnitz was up first:

“The vast majority of our community members living on the street, are doing so as a direct result of synthetic drugs.”…
