Central Library reopens after deadly shooting in downtown Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – Downtown Portland’s Central Library is now open after an unplanned closure following a deadly shooting near the building. Now that the library is back open, those in the area said its reopening is the final step for the community to heal from the shooting.

“It’s an unlimited resource for the public. People need this,” said library visitor Reginald Smith.
