A 61-year-old Portland resident, Ronnie Lee Scott, has been arrested and charged in connection with the stabbing death of Kenny Housman. The charging decisions follow an indictment by a Grand Jury organized by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office, which handed down accusations of Manslaughter in the First and Second Degrees, alongside Assault in the First Degree, as per a recent update from the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).
On Wednesday, PPB units swiftly worked to arrest Scott, considering the situation’s sensitivity. Utilizing their Homicide Unit, Special Emergency Reaction Team, and Crisis Negotiation Team, they were able to take Scott into custody orderly.
