PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Officials are asking the public for information after two cyclists were hit by cars and hospitalized in separate incidents in Washington County Sunday morning.
Around 7:30 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 22400 block of Northwest Dairy Road because of a hit-run crash involving a cyclist. Passersby told deputies they found a woman who had been hit by a vehicle overnight while riding her bike and the driver had left the scene.

The cyclist essentially spent the night alone in a ditch, officials said, while suffering from serious injuries to her leg and face, before she was discovered Sunday morning.
She was taken to a hospital by ambulance and her current condition has not been released at this time…
