PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The search for a mountain biker who went missing in the Mount Hood National Forest continues as search and rescue officials enter their third full day in the area.
Ralph Sawyer, 52, was reported missing late Friday night after not returning from a mountain biking trip near Trillium Lake. Since then, searchers in the area have covered more than 250 miles of land in hopes of finding him.

Search efforts on Sunday included technical rope teams in steep terrain, drones, and an Oregon National Guard helicopter. On Monday, the parajumper unit with the Air Force Reserve joined the search.
