Suspect arrested, shelter in place lifted after police comb Parkrose Neighborhood

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A suspect search has ended in arrest following a large police presence in Northeast Portland on Wednesday, authorities said.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, officers were searching for a man who ran from them and into the Parkrose Neighborhood in the 4800 block of Northeast 100th Avenue.

Officers found the suspect after a search that lasted about two hours. Residents who had been told to stay indoors and lock their doors were notified that the scene was now clear and the shelter-in-place order was lifted…
