‘Wind phone’ at Oregon cemetery offers unique way for people to process grief

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – Just outside Portland, tucked away in a quiet cemetery, there’s a phone that doesn’t ring and never will. But for those grieving a loved one it has become a lifeline for healing.

At Skyline Memorial Gardens, an old rotary phone called the wind phone sits among the trees.
