Assault near Oregon Convention Center MAX station causes life-threatening injury

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – An assault near the Oregon Convention Center has led to a suspect’s detainment early Thursday morning, according to Portland police.

Officers responded to the Convention Center’s TriMet MAX Station just before 6 a.m. and say the area of NE Holladay Street between Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Second Avenue will be blocked for several hours.
