PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was killed and a man was arrested after a stabbing in Southeast Portland that led responding officers to quickly get five children out of the home unharmed.
Just after 12:30 p.m., officers originally responded to reports of the stabbing at a home in the 6400 block of Southeast 143rd Court.

When they got there, they found the woman was already dead and five children in the home. Officers safely got the children out of the home unharmed.
Police said they soon became concerned about active danger to people in the neighborhood, as they believed the suspect was either in the home, or there were other possible victims…
