The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office recovered a body from the Willamette River on Saturday afternoon near the Broadway Bridge.
The body was discovered by a bystander around 11:30 on Saturday, Deputy John Plock said. The sheriff’s office took the body to Cathedral Park, then transported it to the medical examiner, who will determine the person’s identity and cause of death.
