Portland graffiti vandal ‘Bambi’ sentenced to probation; another investigation ongoing

A 22-year-old woman known by the tag “Bambi” has been sentenced to two years of probation after pleading guilty to spraying graffiti across the city, police announced Thursday.

Darvin V. Duffield pleaded guilty to four counts of criminal mischief in the first- or second-degree earlier this month, Multnomah County court records show.

Police began investigating Duffield after she was caught unmasked spray painting the Kidd’s Toy Museum, 1301 S.E. Grand Ave., in 2023, according to a probable cause affidavit. Her tag was later found on state Transportation Department property, police said…
