PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 77-year-old woman was apparently killed by a 29-year-old man who then took his own life following a string of home invasions in a Vancouver neighborhood on Wednesday.
On Saturday, the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office said Cynthia Vance died from a gunshot wound to the head inside her home. The medical examiner also said Triston McGarrah was also found dead from a gunshot wound to the head in the “decedent’s residence.”
The incident unfolded around 6:15 p.m. on July 23 near 13600 NE 22nd Street, Vancouver police said when a man broken into someone’s home carrying a shotgun and attacked another man inside the residence.
