WEEKEND DETAILS

I hope you enjoyed the cooler temps yesterday! PDX hit 81°, with 80s for most Valley and Eastern Oregon locations. Coastal areas topped out in the 60s.

We had a push of marine air overnight, which is causing a blanket of clouds West of the Cascades. Expect most of Saturday morning to be “gray” before sunshine slowly takes over in the afternoon. We have another “cooler” day to look forward to, with highs in the upper-70s.

Sunday will be similar to today, but clouds will clear a little faster in the morning. Highs will be in the low 80s for most.

MON – WED: High pressure starts to push west early next week, which means we’ll have a couple opportunities to reach the low 90s Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect lots of sunshine West of the Cascades! There’s still some disagreement on timing, coverage and intensity, but we’ll continue to monitor the risk for some isolated to scattered thunderstorms Thursday. A few showers could continue into Friday. Highs will be in the low 80s.
