Two stars who have attracted attention and solid reviews for their recent work are appearing in a movie that’s filming in Portland. Maya Hawke, who had a breakout role in “Stranger Things,” and lent her voice to the animated hit, “Inside Out 2,” is co-starring with Lewis Pullman (“Thunderbolts,” “Lessons in Chemistry,” “Top Gun: Maverick”) in a project called “Wishful Thinking.”
According to Variety, Graham Parkes is the writer and director of “Wishful Thinking,” which Variety calls a “surrealist relationship comedy,” about “a volatile couple who discovers their emotional state has supernatural consequences on the world around them. The pair must decide whether to fight for their relationship or accept that their powerful connection might be doing more harm than good.”…
