Honduran national sentenced for fentanyl trafficking in Portland

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A man from Honduras, unlawfully living in Portland, was sentenced to nine years in federal prison on Monday for trafficking fentanyl, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Court documents show that 45-year-old Edis Odalis Centeno Banegas and a co-conspirator were arrested September 6, 2023 following a traffic stop in which fentanyl was seized from their car.
