PORTLAND, Ore. — TriMet is closing the Skidmore Fountain MAX station downtown, saying the closure is aimed at speeding up Blue and Red line trains through downtown Portland.
The station sits underneath the Burnside Bridge and iconic White Stag sign, and is the closest stop to the Portland Saturday Market.
