TIGARD, Ore. (KOIN) — An 82-year-old woman remains hospitalized days after an apparently random attack behind the Tigard Public Library, police told KOIN 6 News.
After the attack on Sunday night, one person was arrested by the Tigard Police Department on Tuesday night. Marcellus Ford, 18, is accused of second-degree assault. He was booked into the Washington County Jail, officials said.
Around 6:45 p.m. Sunday, the woman was walking on the Fanno Creek Trail when a younger man began following her, officials said. Suddenly, the man — later identified as allegedly Ford — attacked her, then ran off as the woman laid unconscious on the trail…
