PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The suspect in a multi-vehicle collision died of apparent suicide after a police search in Vancouver, authorities said.
Vancouver police said a driver allegedly hit multiple cars in a crash that left 10 people injured before fleeing the scene on foot.

The crash happened on Wednesday evening just after 5:15 p.m. near Mill Plain Boulevard, which is now closed in both directions, near 160th Avenue, Vancouver police said.
The man was driving a tow truck when he ran through a red light, striking multiple cars, according to people who called in the incident, police said.
In total, 10 people were transported by ambulances to various hospitals and four cars were involved in the crash. At least two people were seriously injured, including one person who was ejected from a car.
