Berrydale Park reopens in SE Portland with new skatepark, paths and more

PORTLAND, Ore. — Southeast Portland’s Berrydale Park is reopening Friday after the city made major improvements to the neighborhood space.

The renovations include a new playground, skate park, paths, lights, and picnic tables. In total, the efforts cost just under $5 million.

In a statement, District 3 City Councilor Angelita Morillo said, “When we invest in shared green spaces, we invest in community safety and well-being. I’m proud to represent this beautiful neighborhood and am excited for its bright future.”…
