PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A LIFT Paratransit supervisor was hospitalized after they were stabbed by a passenger Thursday night, authorities said.
According to Portland police, just after 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a LIFT Paratransit vehicle stopped at the 11600 block of Northeast Glisan Street, where a passenger was causing a verbal disturbance and refusing to get off.
Shortly after, TriMet notified police that the situation was resolved and they were no longer needed. However, just three minutes later, officials said they learned a supervisor had been stabbed.
