PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Battle Ground police are asking the public for help identifying two young men they believe were a part of a “suspicious situation” involving minors earlier this month.
Officials said the incident happened on Aug. 2 just before 9 p.m., when the two were seen driving a silver minivan in the 1300 block of Northeast 12th Avenue.
Witnesses told police that they pulled alongside two children walking in the area and attempted to persuade them to get in the van. The children said the suspects may have been armed.
