PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A Crook County teenager is recovering in a Portland hospital after suffering serious injuries in a car crash last weekend.
Paige Wood, 16, is well known in Crook County for her involvement in multiple sports, including volleyball. She competes and coaches with the Central Oregon Volleyball Club, which is run by her mother, Heidi.
According to Heidi, Paige was driving early Sunday morning from Eugene to attend church in Crook County. Heidi says she fell asleep at the wheel on State Route 126, just before Blue Pool. Her vehicle veered off the road…
