On August 15th, 2025, at 1801 hours Newport Officers responded to 617 SW Bay Blvd on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Officers learned the victim was in the parking lot when he was approached by a Honda CRV occupied by four males wearing masks. One of the males in the vehicle displayed a firearm, pointed it at the victim, and ordered the victim to enter the vehicle. The victim entered the vehicle. The other males inside of the vehicle were also wearing masks and displayed firearms to the victim.
The suspect males ordered the victim to give them all of his money. The victim complied and gave them a large sum of cash. The victim was able to exit the vehicle, and took a picture of the vehicle as It drove away. Officers searched for the vehicle but were not able to locate it at that time…
