Brand new 38-unit shelter pods debuted in Multnomah County

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — LIT Homes is debuting brand new tiny homes pods that are set to go in a 38-unit shelter in Southeast Portland, called the Harrison Community Village, later this year.

According to a spokesperson with Multnomah County, the 38 units will serve up to 45 adults at a time.

In addition to the sleeping units, the village is also expected to have office spaces for staff, as well as bathrooms and showers, kitchenette amenities, and laundry facilities…
