Shooting in Gresham linked to Portland shooting, no arrests made

GRESHAM, Ore. (KATU) — A shooting involving two cars in Gresham appears to be connected to a subsequent shooting in Portland, according to Gresham Police.

The initial altercation reportedly began near Northeast Glisan and Northeast 167 Avenue just before 6:00 p.m. and continued to Pat Pfeifer Park, where multiple witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing people with firearms.

Police said that by the time officers arrived, the involved parties had fled and were last seen near Northeast 172 Avenue and East Burnside.

Approximately 40 minutes later, Portland Police received a call about a person who had been shot, believed to be related to the Gresham incident…
