PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — As the City of Portland’s development agency, Prosper Portland says its mission is to drive inclusive growth in the Rose City and to create vibrant neighborhoods and communities.
That mission is now led by Cornell Wesley, Prosper Portland’s new executive director. He replaces interim director Shea Flaherty Betin who resigned.
Wesley came to Portland from Birmingham, Alabama and was that city’s director of the Department of Innovation and Economic Opportunity. He’s also worked in other cities, as well as the U.S. Department of Commerce…
