PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After street racers created havoc around Portland early Sunday morning, police said they responded to more street takeovers Sunday night.
On Sunday night, police said officers first responded to the intersection of North Lombard Street and North Chautauqua Boulevard, where 50 to 60 vehicles were reportedly blocking traffic and driving recklessly.
When police arrived, the crowd quickly left the scene, but just a short while later, they regrouped near North Marine Drive, prompting police to start doing traffic stops.
