PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Hillsboro house fire that killed one person and left another person injured earlier this month was caused by a faulty electrical blanket, Hillsboro Fire & Rescue announced on Monday.
Fire crews responded to the flames at 3170 NE 4th St. early on Aug. 16 and located both the victims within five minutes of arrival.
One of the victims died in the hospital two days after the fire occurred. The second victim remains in medical care…
