A federal law-enforcement task force arrested a 38-year-old man last week in connection with an August deadly shooting inside a North Portland motel.
Authorities said the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Andy Wright in San Francisco on allegations of second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm. Wright is accused in the fatal shooting of 41-year-old Philip Redmon in Portland.
On Aug. 11, officers responded to the Super Value Inn on North Interstate Avenue near Killingsworth Street around 7:50 p.m. and found Redmon dead from a gunshot wound. A suspect or suspects fled the scene before officers arrived, Portland police said at the time…
