Search suspended for men missing after catamaran capsizes off Oregon Coast

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The search for two men who went missing after a boat capsized off the Oregon Coast has been called off, the Coast Guard announced Monday.

The boat, a 26-foot catamaran, was overturned Sunday evening at around 9 p.m., officials said.

At the time, three people were on board the ship, one of whom was rescued by a good Samaritan and taken to a nearby hospital.
