Teen accused of firing gun after being confronted for car prowling near high school in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) – A teenager fired multiple rounds after being confronted for car prowling near a high school in Vancouver early Friday morning, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Just before 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to Heritage High School at 7825 NE 130th Avenue after reports of gunfire and a female screaming for help. Deputies heard more gunfire while they were on scene investigating.

The sheriff’s office said deputies could see a suspect running through the baseball and softball fields at the high school. The suspect reportedly jumped fences and ran out of sight…
