PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Plans to build a new detox center next to a school in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood have the greenlight to move forward.
A spokesperson for Portland Permitting and Development told KATU that under the newly signed House Bill 2005, cities must allow treatment facilities in residential areas without requiring a conditional use permit or a plan amendment.
