Portland’s Dignity Village marks quarter-century milestone with community fundraiser

PORTLAND, Oregon — Portland’s pioneering self-governed homeless shelter Dignity Village celebrated its 25th anniversary Sunday with a community fundraiser as residents face mounting financial challenges.
