PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez is calling out a local judge for the punishment meted out against a man who recorded himself driving recklessly around the Portland metro area.
Oscar Burell Jr., 33, was convicted on three of the 11 crimes with which he was charged. For those convictions, Judge Katharine von Ter Stegge sentenced Burrell 18 months of probation and 80 hours of community service, which can be reduced if Burrell makes a video telling people not to do what he did.
Burell’s license was also suspended for 90 days…
