Vendor arrested at Oregon Flea Market; over $10,000 in stolen goods uncovered

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Authorities have arrested a vendor at the Oregon Flea Market on Stark Street in connection with a large-scale stolen merchandise operation.

The investigation, which has been ongoing for several months, uncovered over 1,200 items at the flea market and additional items at the vendor’s residence in Southeast Portland, with an estimated value exceeding $10,000.

Detective Adam Wright of the Gresham Police Department said, “We are serving a search warrant on a retail thrift business in Gresham, Oregon. Several months ago, our law enforcement partners with the Portland Police and Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office became aware of a fencing operation, selling stolen goods out of this business.”
