PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A violent crash on Interstate 84 early Saturday morning left one person dead and another hospitalized with serious injuries after one of the vehicles erupted in flames.
Early Morning Collision
According to Corbett Fire, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene near milepost 24 around 3:45 a.m. Saturday. When first responders arrived, they found two vehicles involved in the crash, one of which was fully engulfed in flames.
The dramatic fire lit up the highway as firefighters rushed to control the blaze while medics searched for survivors.
