A preserved midcentury house in Portland’s Southwest Hills, described as a time capsule with endless potential, sold Sept. 19 for $1,125,000.

The 0.41-acre property with treetop views on Southwest Fairmount Boulevard was put on the market Aug. 18 at $924,000, and seven offers were received within a week. A sale contract for $201,000 over the asking price was signed.
