Since the end of July, the 32 speed enforcement cameras across Portland haven’t snapped a single photo of a speeding car.
The reason: All the cameras have been switched off as part of what the Portland Bureau of Transportation is calling a necessary step in upgrading and refreshing the traffic safety system, as first reported by OPB.
