Woman dies in McLoughlin crash at Milport Street

Late on Sunday evening, August 31, on S.E. McLoughlin Boulevard – a half mile south of Ochoco Street – a car blew through a red traffic signal at Milport Street, north of the town of Milwaukie, and smashed into another vehicle.

Milwaukie Police Department (MPD) officers, who were dispatched to the crash at 10:22 p.m. that evening, found a 2011 Infiniti had been T-boned by 2013 Chrysler.

The driver and passenger of the Chrysler were taken by ambulance to a local hospital, with driver’s female passenger sustaining serious injuries. Both the driver and the passenger of the Infiniti were taken to a hospital with what MPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Mark Inman described as “life-threatening injuries”…
