PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A cyclist suffered minor injuries after crashing into a Portland police vehicle early Tuesday morning, officials said.
The crash occurred near W Burnside Street and NW 19th Avenue around 6 a.m., according to police.

“The preliminary investigation indicates the cyclist’s brakes were malfunctioning, causing him to roll through a red light and collide with the officer who had a green light,” police said.
