PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A truck struck the Marine Drive overpass on Wednesday afternoon, causing road closures on NE 223 Ave. and NE Marine Drive.
Multnomah County officials said the truck hit the overpass’s support structure, causing the westbound lane on NE Marine Drive to close while emergency crews are on scene. All lanes of NE 223 Ave. under the overpass are closed.
Officials recommend taking the nearest exit off NE 223rd to get back onto Marine Drive, or expect traffic delays for several hours.
